General Cancellation Policy

JURIVEN LLP believes in helping its customers as far as possible and has therefore adopted a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

  • Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 2 days of placing the order. However, cancellation requests may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to vendors/merchants and the process of execution or service delivery has been initiated.
  • JURIVEN LLP does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items such as flowers, eatables, etc. However, refund or replacement may be considered if the customer establishes that the quality of the delivered product is unsatisfactory.
  • In case of receipt of damaged or defective items, please report the same to our Customer Service Team within 2 days of receipt. The request will be processed after verification by the concerned merchant.
  • If the product received is not as shown on the website or does not meet expectations, the issue must be reported within 2 days of receipt. Our Customer Service Team will review the complaint and take an appropriate decision.
  • For products covered under manufacturer warranty, customers are advised to directly contact the manufacturer.
  • Approved refunds may take 9–15 days to be processed to the original payment method.

1. Introduction and Scope

1.1 Purpose

This Refund Policy ("Policy") sets out the terms governing refunds of fees and payments made by users ("Users" or "Customers") to Juriven LLP ("Platform", "We", "Us") for online dispute resolution services, legal consultation, document preparation, arbitration, mediation, and related services offered through www.juriven.com.

1.2 Legal Framework

This Policy is drafted in compliance with applicable Indian laws, including:

  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000
  • The Indian Contract Act, 1872
  • The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
  • The Mediation Act, 2023
  • The Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017
1.3 Binding Nature

By engaging with Juriven's services, Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy, which forms an integral part of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.


2. Definitions

"Service Commencement" means the point at which Juriven begins providing the requested service.

"Service Completion" means final delivery of service outcome.

"Earned Fees" means portion attributable to services already rendered.

"Non-Refundable Fees" means administrative, platform, government, and third-party fees.

"Processing Fee" means administrative charges deducted during refund processing.

"Reasonable Period" means not exceeding 7 business days from approval date.


3. General Refund Principles

3.1 Non-Refundable Services
  • (a) Legal Consultation and Advice – Non-refundable once commenced.
  • (b) Document Preparation – Non-refundable once drafting begins.
  • (c) Mediation & Conciliation – Non-refundable once initiated.
  • (d) Arbitration – Non-refundable upon filing or arbitrator appointment.
  • (e) Protective Subscriptions – Non-refundable once activated.
3.2 Refundable Services (Limited Cases)
  • (a) Service Non-Performance
  • (b) Deficiency in Service
  • (c) Duplicate or Erroneous Payment
  • (d) Cancellation by Juriven
  • (e) Force Majeure Events

6. Refund Process and Procedure

  2. Investigation: Acknowledgment within 48 hours; review within 14 days.
  3. Decision: Communicated within 21 days.
  4. Processing: Refund processed within 5–7 business days if approved.
