For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the term "we", "us", "our" used anywhere on this page shall mean JURIVEN LLP, whose registered/operational office is Shop No A5, Sai Darshan Apt, Bk 1075, OT Sec Station Road Unr-3 Thane Kalyan Maharashtra India 421002 Ulhasnagar 2 MAHARASHTRA 421002. The terms "you", "your", "user", "visitor" shall mean any natural or legal person who is visiting our website and/or agreed to purchase from us.

Your use of the website and/or purchase from us are governed by the following Terms and Conditions:

  • The content of the pages of this website is subject to change without notice.
  • Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

1.1 Definitions
  • Platform: Website, mobile application, web portal, and digital services operated by Juriven LLP.
  • Services: Legal services, ODR, arbitration, mediation, legal consultation, document preparation and advisory services.
  • User: Any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform.
  • Agreement: These Terms of Service and related policies including Privacy Policy.
  • Juriven: Juriven LLP registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008.
  • Dispute: Any claim or controversy relating to use of Services.
  • Intellectual Property Rights: Patents, trademarks, copyrights and other legally recognized rights.
  • Content: Information, documents, data uploaded or transmitted by Users.
  • Personal Data: Identifiable information as defined under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Acceptance of Terms

2.1 Binding Agreement

By accessing, browsing, or using the Platform and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2.2 Electronic Acceptance

Your use of the Platform constitutes electronic acceptance under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2.3 Version Control

Juriven reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

2.4 Refusal of Service

Juriven reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or entity at its sole discretion in compliance with applicable law.


3. Eligibility and Registration

3.1 Eligibility Requirements

You may only use the Platform and Services if you:

  • (a) Are at least 18 years of age or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction;
  • (b) Are not a person prohibited by Indian law from receiving Services;
  • (c) Possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract;
  • (d) Are not an intermediary offering similar services without authorization;
  • (e) Have never been convicted of a criminal offense or debarred from legal practice;
  • (f) Are not engaged in unlawful activity or in violation of these Terms or applicable laws;
  • (g) For minors below 21 years (as per DPDP Act, 2023), parental or guardian consent is required in writing.
3.2 Registration Process
  • (a) To access certain Services, you must register an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information as requested on the Platform.
  • (b) You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and password.
  • (c) You agree not to share your account credentials with any third party.
  • (d) You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • (e) Juriven reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not comply with these Terms.
3.3 Information Accuracy

You warrant that all information provided during registration and use of the Services is true, accurate, and complete. You shall update your information promptly if any details change. Juriven is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from inaccurate or outdated information.


4. Scope of Services

4.1 Service Offerings

Juriven LLP provides the following Services through its Platform:

  • (a) Online Dispute Resolution (ODR): Facilitation of mediation, conciliation, and arbitration proceedings conducted virtually in compliance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and the Mediation Act, 2023.
  • (b) Legal Consultation: Provision of legal advice, counsel, and guidance by qualified legal professionals licensed to practice in India.
  • (c) Document Preparation: Drafting, review, and preparation of legal documents including agreements, wills, power of attorney, and other legal instruments.
  • (d) Arbitration Services: Administration and facilitation of arbitration proceedings as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
  • (e) Mediation and Conciliation: Provision of neutral third-party facilitation for dispute resolution.
  • (f) Legal Information: Provision of general legal information, guidance, and educational resources (not constituting legal advice).
  • (g) Protective Services: Legal protection subscriptions and assistance packages.
4.2 Limitations
  • (a) Services do not constitute representation before courts or judicial tribunals unless explicitly stated and authorized by law.
  • (b) Services are provided on an "as-is" basis with no guarantee of specific outcomes.
  • (c) Services should not be construed as a substitute for professional legal representation unless explicitly authorized.
  • (d) Services are subject to applicable laws and regulations of India.
  • (e) Services may be suspended or modified at Juriven's sole discretion.
4.3 Professional Standards

All legal professionals providing Services through Juriven LLP shall:

  • (a) Be qualified and authorized to practice law in India under the Bar Council of India.
  • (b) Comply with Bar Council of India Rules and professional ethics.
  • (c) Maintain client confidentiality and professional privilege.
  • (d) Disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • (e) Adhere to the Advocates Act, 1961 and related professional conduct norms.

5. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

5.1 Permitted Use

You agree to use the Platform and Services solely for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You shall not use the Services to:

  • (a) Engage in any form of illegal activity or fraud;
  • (b) Harass, threaten, abuse, or defame any individual or entity;
  • (c) Transmit hateful, discriminatory, obscene, or offensive content;
  • (d) Infringe upon the Intellectual Property Rights of Juriven or any third party;
  • (e) Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or its systems;
  • (f) Disrupt the operation or functionality of the Platform;
  • (g) Collect, harvest, or scrape data without authorization;
  • (h) Create multiple accounts for fraudulent purposes;
  • (i) Engage in unauthorized practice of law or falsely represent yourself as a legal professional;
  • (j) Use the Platform to solicit unlawful services or conduct.
5.2 Confidentiality Obligations

You agree to:

  • (a) Keep all confidential information shared during dispute resolution proceedings confidential as required by law and these Terms.
  • (b) Not disclose mediation communications, arbitration statements, or settlement discussions without prior written consent.
  • (c) Comply with all confidentiality obligations prescribed under applicable Indian laws including the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and the Mediation Act, 2023.
  • (d) Acknowledge that mediation communications are privileged and generally inadmissible in evidence under Section 15 of the Mediation Act, 2023.
5.3 Intellectual Property Respect

You shall not:

  • (a) Reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content from the Platform without authorization;
  • (b) Modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works from the Platform’s content;
  • (c) Use Juriven’s trademarks, logos, or service marks without prior written consent;
  • (d) Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or discover source code or underlying algorithms;
  • (e) Register domain names, social handles, or accounts using Juriven’s marks or confusingly similar names.

7. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

7.1 Mediation
  • (a) Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall first be subject to mediation in accordance with the Mediation Act, 2023.
  • (b) The parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation and mediation prior to initiating formal legal proceedings.
  • (c) Mediation shall be conducted by a mutually agreed mediator or through Juriven’s mediation services.
  • (d) The mediation process shall remain confidential in accordance with applicable law.
7.2 Arbitration Agreement
  • (a) To the maximum extent permitted by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, Services, or any alleged breach shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
  • (b) This arbitration agreement is enforceable under Section 7 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and Section 4 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • (c) Seat of Arbitration: New Delhi, India.
  • (d) Arbitration Rules: Proceedings shall be governed by the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and applicable rules thereunder.
  • (e) Governing Law: These Terms and all disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without reference to conflict of law principles.

8. Liability and Indemnification

8.1 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JURIVEN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages;
  • Any use or inability to use the Platform or Services;
  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in content or Services;
  • Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, data, or goodwill;
  • Unauthorized access to, alteration of, or misuse of User data.
8.2 Disclaimer

All Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except as expressly required by law.

8.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Juriven LLP, its partners, employees, consultants, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or relating to:

  • (a) Your use of the Platform or Services in violation of these Terms;
  • (b) Your infringement of any Intellectual Property Right;
  • (c) Your violation of applicable laws or regulations;
  • (d) Your negligence or willful misconduct;
  • (e) Your submission of false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content.

9. Payment Terms and Refund Policy

9.1 Fees and Charges
  • (a) Juriven shall clearly display all applicable fees, charges, and costs for Services on the Platform before a User initiates a transaction.
  • (b) Fees are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise expressly stated.
  • (c) Additional charges may apply for expedited services, additional consultations, enhanced features, or supplementary requests.
  • (d) Juriven reserves the right to modify fees upon providing at least 30 days’ prior notice on the Platform.
9.2 Payment Obligations

Users agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize Juriven to charge the selected payment method for all applicable fees. Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or termination of Services.

9.3 Refund Policy
  • (a) Non-Refundable Services: Consulting sessions, legal advice, document preparation, and facilitation of mediation or arbitration are generally non-refundable once Services have commenced.
  • (b) Cancellation Within 7 Days: Users may cancel subscription-based Services and request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided no Services have been rendered.
  • (c) Refund for Non-Performance: If Juriven fails to provide the promised Services, Users may request a refund for the unutilized portion.
  • (d) Refund Processing: Approved refunds shall be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1 Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with:

  • (a) The laws of India, without regard to its conflicts of law doctrines;
  • (b) The Indian Contract Act, 1872;
  • (c) The Information Technology Act, 2000;
  • (d) The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996;
  • (e) The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023;
  • (f) All other applicable laws and regulations in force in India.
10.2 Jurisdiction

Subject to the arbitration agreement contained herein, the exclusive jurisdiction for any court proceedings shall lie with the Courts of New Delhi, India.

12. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By using the Platform and Services, you acknowledge that:

  • (a) You have read and understood these Terms of Service in their entirety;
  • (b) You voluntarily accept and agree to be bound by these Terms;
  • (c) You have the legal capacity to enter into this binding agreement;
  • (d) You will use the Platform and Services only in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws;
  • (e) These Terms constitute a legally binding and enforceable contract under Indian law;
  • (f) Your continued use of the Platform constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms as amended from time to time.
